We offer "lessons" through Pawsitive Paws Academy for you to try flyball with your dog before committing to a team. The 7 week class is $85.
We do not require any special training with your dog ahead of time. Everything will start on lead and go from there. We will be helping you to train your dog in steps using positive training techniques. Our goal is for this to be a fun and rewarding experience for you and your dog. You may use treats, toys, hugs, or whatever motivates your dog.
If you are interested, we encourage you to come out and watch a couple of practices. Bring your dog. This gives you a chance to experience our training style and see if our approach is right for you and your dog. If you have questions or would like to begin a class, please contact us for more information.
For training, please bring the following items with you: your regular leash and regular collar, a training collar if you use one, a flexi-lead (long-line), water/bowl, motivational items (treats, toy, tug rope, whatever) and a sense of humor! Also be sure you have on shoes you can run in! Your dog won't be the only one to get a workout!!!
